Getting better.... I hope.
So we got our income tax return recently. Did pretty good. Got a pretty decent return. So we took the money and got rid or our 4 biggest credit cards. Not so much biggest payments, but biggest interest rates. Kinda makes me sick to think we had 4 high interest rate cards in our name. The sad thing is that we haven't purchased anything on any of them for 2 years, and if it wasn't for interest we would have paid them all off already. In actuality we hadn't paid more than $200 off on any of them. None of them were over $1000. It's just sickening. What a stupid thing to do. Anybody who thinks putting tomorrows purchases on a card today needs to really think about that. Outrageously expensive. It's just wrong. So now my goal is to get my new seat for my bike, and get the money saved up for our yearly Moab (maybe St. George this year) trip. I'm really looking forward to it. Trying to get myself in riding shape. Right now, I've got a long ways to go. Then I have 3 more debts I really want to get paid off this year. (plus I owe parents money. I want to pay off some of that too. Then hopefully by next year I will be ready to purchase a new car or even better a new motorcycle. Now just need to see how good we can do. Getting there, but still have a ways to go.
