Rants and Rages and Such

I've been going to do this for a while. there have been a few things that have been going on that have really kinda gotten to me and I've been going to write about them, just haven't taken the time to do so. So today I am and here goes.

First my work schedule. I have one of the best work schedules anywhere. I only work 3 days a week. Granted they are long dys, but in addition to the 3 days of work, my emplyer throws in 2.5 - 3 hours of pay per week. Just so I can be classified as a full time employee and get full work benefits. Now that being said we have this group of idiots at work who can't seem to get into their damn heads how lucky they are. Every year it's the same ol' BS. complaining about how many paid holidays they get and how many the other guys get, or how much time they spend on one shift, or whatever. So finally someone gets around to fixing the schedule so it's impartial, and fair year after year and there are more complaints. What a bunch of whining retards, then you get the Jerk from somewhere who felt they needed to pipe in and join the frey without any knowledge or sense of intelligence. So here are the facts. Or schedule last year followed a 6 week rotation. every 6 weeks there was a change either days of the week or hours of the day. in a simple easily trackable rotation. So our new supervisor who was unaware of the past whinings decided he would post a schedule for this next year following last years schedule pattern. It's out one shift, and he gets 2 complaints and my group manager gets some complaints too. So the supervisor tells everyone there will be a revision of the calendar and to disregaurd the original posted one. 1 freaking shift. So the group manager tells the supervisor he has made a calander for the next 4 years and that he will bring it out. In between this calander and the next one being brought out this supervisor takes it upon himself to design a fair and impartial calendar that would be fair year after year and simple to keep track of. (the supervisor doesn't work this schedule so he can't be accused of making a schedule to favor himself) The group manager agreed to go to this schedule next year, but he wanted to use his this year. When I heard this I went to the grup manager and told him to put it to a vote and see which schedule the crews wished to work. The impartial schedule was voted in. but then we get this "annonomous" e-mail telling everyone what a bunch of crybabies we are and how hard our group manager works to make things easy for us, blah blah blah. basically went of on everyone with absolutely no knowledge of the facts. Until the vote no one saw the group managers schedule, so there was no time to whine about it. Nor was the original posted schedule ever going to be the schedule we went to, even though it was posted by someone just trying to be helpful. So my rant is to those freaking idiots who just have to have something to complain about evry time there is a change. Freaking grow up. Life is full of change. get used to it. Then to "Mrs. annonymous" keep your nose in your own damn business you ingnorant unschooled piece of dung not even fit to be used by the dung beetles. If you are going to send emails to some group of people telling them how childish they are you might want to make sure you have all the facts first. And grow a pair of balls and put your own damn name to it. instead of sending an email from someones email box that nobody in the pressroom knows, and signing your name,"the grapevine" you have no idea how absolutely stupid you sounded. The worst part is I know you will never read this blog, so You will never know how stupid and ignorant you truly are.

Second is my current supervisor at work. (different from the one mentioned before) Another person who needs to grow a set. If you want to tell me to do something pull your nuts out and tell me. And if there is something you need to tell your boss, or one of the other "white shirts" at work pull your balls out and do it. I'm sick and tired of being the one who has to do all your dirty work for you 'cuz you're too damn scared to do it yourself. How you ever got to a position of authority is beyond me how do you tell someone what they need to do when can't even figure out how to up your own pants. Somehow I think you button yours up the side. Ah I needed to get that out. Maybe you can tell I'm just a touch flustered with this one. he says stuff that doesn't need to be said, then doesn't have the guts to say what needs to be said. Go figure. Anyway no more of that

Jayge got suspended today for getting in another fight at school. First one this year. But at least this time he did everything he could to try to stay out of the fight, but once it started, he made sure he finished it. Only problem is the cat scratched him last night, so I guess all the people at school thought the kid did it. funny none of them wondered why if the kid cut him it wasn't bleeding. Oh well, I guess they need to teach them how to use logic at the school. Unfortunitely he got suspended for 3 days, which he can ill afford, but I guess that's life. And I think I've said enough.

So more time passes and I just get back to posting again. We are in the process of trying to get everything ready for Christmas. Our decorations are up, Some of the shopping is done, we are actually getting into the spirit of the holiday season. What a wonderful time of year. There is something about this time of year. You can either allow the frustrations of all the crowds and people everywhere to pull you down, or you can allow the spirit of fellowship and giving to fill you and really enjoy the spirit of the season. I really enjoy this time of year as I allow myself to slow down and feel the joys of the season. Even with the hassles of the season I really think this is a great time of year. So I hope you enjoy this season, and enjoy the holiday spirit. Happy Holidays to all however you wish to enjoy them.
