Been a while

Been a while since I last had a post on my Blog. Really not much has changed around here. I have mostly been working. I have gotten a little annoyed at Jayge lately as he has really given up on getting good grades for this 4th quarter. He had been doing so well, and then he just turned around and gave up. I wish I could understand what brings him to do that. It's really frusterating. And to top it off he has really started to be extremely rude to his mother. Which bugs me to no end. Right now I have absolutely no desire to take him riding with me at all.

So there is another change in our house. Once again I have SUCKER written right across my forehead for everyone to see. We went out and picked up 2 new kittens. Lucky is white with a little bit of orange and grey. She is a pretty little thing and is really quite lucky to have made it this far. It appears that her mother had a litter of kittens in the back of a semi-trailer in Texas. I'm sure it was quite a shock when she either found the trailer gone, or felt it getting hooked up. Anyway when the load got to Utah there was a surprise awaiting the people who unloaded the trailer. There were three little kittens and no mother. Unfortunately the other two didn't survive the trip and were crushed in transit. The family that bottle fed her and took care of her until she could survive on her own were unable to continue to care for her and we were asked if we wanted her. How could we say no? We figured the next time we got cats we would do two so when we heard that Alex's friends was nursing a litter of kittens that the mother had abandoned and they were about the same age, we went and picked up one more. Thus the addition of one more kitten a cute little black kitten with white paws and a splash of white on the neck. She was named Sox. So together I guess we now have a pair of Lucky Sox. I have posted a picture of the two sleeping together on the couch. They seem to enjoy each others company and spend most of their time sleeping or playing together. (The kids call it fighting)

Anyway I have a week or so off work. I am going to help my Bro move in this friday, and I am going to Santiquin on Sun. hopefully I can make it to the race this weekend up in Cache Valley and I hope to get a few good rides in. So heres hoping for a good few days of fun.

Here they are asleep together on the couch. Lucky is the white one. Sox is the Black one. Guess I'm just a sucker for pets. Posted by Hello

riding and stuff.

The weather around here has been really nice for the last little bit. And it has allowed me time to get out and spend some time riding. Unfortunately I haven'y been able to spend a lot of time traveling around to different rides so I have just been riding the BST around my house for the last bit. It started to get a little old riding hte exact same trail every day so I started riding a few of the spurs I have seen branching off from the main trail. It has opened up a fairly significant amount of trail to be enjoyed. Much of it was much more established than I expected. I also got out and rode the Ogden section of the BST. It was a really quite enjoyable. It's in a lot better shape this year than it was any of the other times I rode it. That's great to see a trail really take shape and start to look nice. Jayge had a blast riding that one too. I'm sure he enjoyed the change as much as anything too. Other than that, there really hasn't been too much change around here. The kids are in the last quarter of school, I'm in the middle of a shift change. Basically same ol' same ol'.
